Includes integral Type 3 and UK Water Reg 4 Approved HORNE TSV1-3 Thermostatic Shower Valve and In-Line Thermal Disinfection Unit ILTDU pre-plumbed (in copper) within a white epoxy-polyester powder-coated aluminium panel with manual flow diverter, BS 8300 compliant lever controls, fixed vandal resistant shower head in chromium plated finish, hose with single function handset, flow regulator and 940mm pipe cover with ILTDU key slot and wall-mounted riser rail in dementia-friendly deep orange/grey.

Unsupervised mode: lever shower controls (On - anti-clockwise rotation) with vandal resistant shower head.

Assisted showering mode: lever controls (On - clockwise rotation) and flow via hose and single function handset.

Product Reference T7Y5T92L as per drawing No. D12306. To be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions and commissioned in accordance with water regulations and bylaws using the Horne TSV1 Flushing kit.

Dual outlet shower with integral manual diverter valve to facilitate unassisted and assisted showering in care and accessible / adapted environments. Unassisted Mode uses the fixed vandal and ligature resistant shower head at top of panel (rotate on/off control anti-clockwise to start flow). Assisted Mode (rotate on/off control clockwise) directs water flow to hose and single function handset.
Integral 8 L/min flow regulator (VR head) for water and energy conservation contributes to BREEAM rating
Pressure and performance tested pre-plumbed assembly with internal copper piping
Quick and easy to install surface mounted panel suitable for new build, retrofit and temporary installation

* current arrangement. For broader compliance with various Accessible/Inclusive Design regulations and guidance, a longer wall-mounted riser rail (1060mm between fixing centres) will become the standard issue for this accessible shower package. It is anticipated to be in production from approx. late September 2024.

Please note that this shower model is unsuitable for gravity-fed installations and requires a minimum dynamic pressure of 2 bar at each shower head.

Standards and Approvals

The HORNE TSV-MDV shower valve is designed to comply with the requirements of BS7942:2011, and 'Thermostatic mixing valves for use in care establishments'. 3rd party approval to NHS Model Engineering Specifications D 08 Thermostatic mixing valves (Healthcare premises) is pending.
The HORNE TSV-MDV is designed to comply (3rd party approval pending) with Reg 4 (materials in contact with water) of the Water Fitting Regulations 1999.
The integral ILTDU is approved to Reg 4 (materials in contact with water) of the Water Fitting Regulations 1999.
