Please note this video is now obsolete and illustrates substitution of standard control knobs with legacy design lever controls, discontinued from February 2023. Our current lever design shares components and installation procedure with our standard controls; knob caps and lock nuts. Although showing an old design of lever and screw cap, the process shown in the video remains largely the same for the new lever design.
Using a sharp point, remove the end cap from the temperature control knob, then remove the locknut and the temperature control knob assembly. Fit the temperature control knob intermediate nut, followed by the die cast temperature control lever. The locknut should be tightened to a torque of 25Nm. Finally replace the chrome-plated end cap, making sure to position the coloured arrows appropriately.
Again using a sharp point, remove the end cap from the on/off knob. Using a 3mm hex key, undo the screw washer. If present (legacy - standard plastic knobs only) remove and discard the spacer, and then remove the on/off control knob.
Using a 17mm socket, remove the (legacy) non-rising headgear. This is replaced by the ceramic disc assembly, which is screwed into place and tightened to a torque of 25Nm.
Note: All single outlet dual-lever shower models, from May 2025, include the 90° rotation ceramic disc cartridge as standard. However, the non-rising headgear remains available as a spare.
Fit the die cast flow control lever - note that this only rotates through a quarter turn. Use a 3mm hex key to fit the washer and screw, then replace the on/off end cap.
