Verify the performance of the TSV1 shower valve by performing a cold water supply failure test. Turn the shower on then isolate the cold water supply at the low level servicing valve. If performing correctly, the shower valve should shut down on the hot water supply and prevent any hot water from reaching the outlet where it can pose a scalding risk. If the shower continues to run at more than a dribble then it may require some maintenance.
