The Optitherm uniquely complies fully with the requirements of NHS Estates Health Guidance Note, 'Safe Hot Water and Surface Temperatures', which states that no surface within 2 metres of floor level should ever exceed a temperature of 42°C.
Thermal imaging of the Optitherm in use shows how the surface of the Optitherm never exceeds 42°C and therefore at no point does it pose a burn risk.
Parameters at the time were:
Hot water supply temperature - 60°C
Cold water supply temperature - 17°C
Mixed water temperature - 41°C
