Only the red, mixed water lever, is required to deliver thermostatically controlled warm water for clinical or surgical handwash. Turn the tap on by pressing down on the short lever with the pad of the thumb. As the short lever moves away, the long lever rotates forward ready for tap closure with an elbow or forearm when hand washing is complete.
