This video demonstrates how the Optitherm closes the flow of hot water in the event of a cold water supply failure. To highlight this we show the isolation from the cold water supply at the ball valve located underneath the spigot. This is also the best test to confirm correct function of the Optitherm and if any maintenance is required (flow should stop initially then return to a trickle before closing again, and repeat). Maintenance will be required if this is not observed.
