Optitherm Flushing Boot

The Optitherm Flushing Boot enables the pipework to be flushed via the spigot prior to installation of the tap body, which may not be required until the final stages of the fit-out programme.

In accordance with Water Regulations, supply pipework should be flushed at full bore to completely remove any debris and organic matter prior to commissioning any installed valves. 

If employing a maintenance regime that involves the periodic changeover of tap bodies (for removal to the workshop for performance testing, flushing and thermal disinfection), the flushing boot can be used between changeovers to quickly and effectively remove excess biofilm from the internal pipe surfaces and thus improve the quality of water entering the tap.
