Following a successful trial of our Yellow Duŝo shower column at one of their home clubs in Castleford, West Yorkshire, we are very pleased that it has now been adopted by Xercise4Less gym operator as their standard for all new clubs and those due for refurbishment.
Xercise4Less is one of the UK's fastest growing budget gym operators. It has a strong and valuable brand identity and ambitious plans for expansion. We are delighted to have been selected to partner with X4L as they embark on this phase of growth.
First introduced to the Duŝo at the Leisure Industry Week trade show in autumn 2014, Group Facilities Manager, Nick Griffiths, wasted little time in getting the Castleford trial set-up. Functional and maintenance problems with their previous choice of shower panel, coupled with a lack of assistance from the manufacturer, led them to actively seek a new design and supplier.
Clearly impressed with the sleek and elegant, yet durable look of the Duŝo, Nick Griffiths also liked its ease of operation and accessibility to componentry for cleaning and maintenance. Not only that, it was available in a range of trim colours (on/off paddle and spray plate), one of which matched very well with the distinctive yellow of the X4L brand. Quality and value are key aspects of the Duŝo design: it's strong yet simple, durable and cost-effective over a maximised lifespan. Perhaps a perfect match for X4Ls brand attributes!
Clubs featuring the Duŝo shower column include Shrewsbury and Rugby, which opened at the turn of the year and Southend (Rochford), which opens on Friday 29th January. A further 20 X4L clubs are expected to open in the first half of 2016.
