Although we are frequently complimented on our good design and execution in an informal manner (save for winning design prizes), not always are customers sufficiently moved to put their words of praise in writing.
As such, when a glowing email from PT at Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust’s Estates Department landed in my inbox, it did bring a certain glow.
PT's email comments on the service received from Horne Engineering over the years and, in particular, how impressed he is with the performance of the Optitherm thermostatic tap, of which they now have over 200 units on site.
Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, already a strong supporter of Horne thermostatic valves and showers, was one of the first Trusts to be shown, and given to trial, an Optitherm tap in early 2008. Following the Optitherm’s TMV3 scheme approval (NHS ME Specification D 08) in the summer of 2008, the Estates department at Derriford started a programme of refurbishment. Initial orders of 2-3 units soon became orders of 25+ and the Optitherm tap became the clinical tap of choice for the refurbishment programme, which is still ongoing.
We could not have hoped for a more thorough and glowing product recommendation so many thanks to PT at Derriford Hospital. Horne Engineering will continue to serve you to the standard to which you’ve become accustomed for many years to come.
