Horne CPDs gather momentum

Following the success of our Engineering Vs Legionella CPD presentation at the joint IHEEM and SOPHE event in Manchester earlier this year, there has been a bit of a surge in interest for its deployment elsewhere – it’s scheduled for the IHEEM Ireland branch meeting, Water Quality in Healthcare, on 30th September, which expects another high turnout.

Not limited to Society events, we would welcome the opportunity to demonstrate our 106+ years of engineering expertise and thoughtful approach to a multi-faceted problem – we dispel some popular myths and put forward our take on the correct management solution.  Recent recipients of our CPDs include Mouchel Liverpool, Crofton Design Associates and Moss Architects in London.

Broadly similar, the following Horne CPD presentations are available:

  • Addendum to HTM 04-01: the role of outlet fittings in delivering water that is safe and conducive to hand washing, including engineering solutions to minimise the risk of P. Aeruginosa infection in healthcare (CIBSE Approved)
  • Engineering Vs Legionella, Pseudomonas and the retrograde contamination of water supplies by micro-organisms.

CIBSE CPD approved Maintenance Training Seminars are also available for maintenance operatives and contract FM providers.

Certificates of attendance will be supplied to all participants.
