Here is a selection of images from the new water tank development at Molemuni secondary school in rural Kenya, a project we are supporting that is managed by international water-aid charity, Just a Drop.
As part of the water tank commissioning process, the school children are given an in-depth education about the importance of good hand hygiene and how it is a major contributor to preventing the spread of disease.
We are delighted that our support has helped these children to have direct access to local, safe, clean water - allowing them to spend more time in education and also enjoy significantly better health. Although, their daily school routine looks pretty full on - perhaps a walk along the river might offer a bit of welcome respite now!
