We are pleased to announce that we will be attending FHCE, a new and exciting conference and exhibition organised by UBM at the Business Design Centre in Islington on October 3-4 this year.

During the course of the year, there are any number of events with venues across the land aimed at the healthcare sector.  It's often difficult, as a product manufacturer, to pinpoint the events that will allow us to showcase our knowledge and expertise to customers that will really benefit from our product and service offerings.

With current tightening of budgets, reductions in staff number, increasing attention on infection prevention and control combined with an aging healthcare estate - sustainable design is more important than ever.  This event is aimed at architects, consulting engineers, project managers and others involved in the design, product selection and build of healthcare buildings and services.  The total lifecycle cost (LCC) of a product is the key here:

• double up functionality - increase usage capacity and water turnover
• look for best value not lowest price - design-in high quality materials and performance for product longevity
• keep maintenance costs down - design-in improved access and straightforward procedures
• keep soft FM costs down - design-in ease of cleaning
• reduce operating costs - design-in water and energy saving features
• recycle after use - after an extended lifetime (acheived by adhering to all of the above) design-in ease of disassembly and material recovery to maximise recycling value
