TMV3 Scheme Approval is certification for thermostatic valves that meet the performance requirements of NHS Model Engineering Specification D08 (Healthcare premises).
The certification lasts for 5 years and the renewal process usually begins in year 4 when the Water Research Council (WRC) testing house request a valve from production for testing purposes.
The TSV1-3 thermostatic shower valve, which is integral to Horne's Healthcare and Secure shower panels, has had its D08 re-testing completed and approved by WRC. Approval is valid until May 2016 - the certificate (Number BC842/0511) has been issued and can be viewed here.
