Amendments were made to the Scottish Building Standards in May 2006 and to the UK Building Regulations in April 2010 for the rest of the UK. All domestic new-builds and refurbishments now require the installation of thermostatic mixing valves, particularly to baths to reduce the risk of accidental scalding. We have applied our knowledge and expertise to develop a range of TMVs suitable for the needs of social housing. A safe, reliable and controlled flow of hot water with a maximum setting of 48°C is essential for comfortable living.
