APPLICATIONS:The Heatstat T2 TMV has been specially designed for the domestic market (TMV2 Scheme Approved) to reduce the number of scalding accidents in the home - specifically in the bath. The Heatstat is also suitable for use with solar heated hot water, which can typically exceed 80°C during summer months. From May 1st 2006, all new build and refurbished dwellings in Scotland must have a TMV2 hot water mixing valve fitted to the bath in order to meet the new building regulations set by the Scottish Building Standards Agency for the prevention of bath water scalding in the home. The Heatstat T2 is approved to all Type 2 (TMV2 Scheme - testing to BSEN 1111 and BSEN 1287) designations including low pressure bath fill applications. The Heatstat T2 TMV should not be used in high risk, healthcare applications - Type 3 (TMV3) approved TMVs should be installed in these situations. The Heatstat T2 TMV is factory set at 46°C (maximum temperature 48°C) to ensure adults can bathe in suitable temperatures, yet is low enough to prevent a severe scald injury. The Heatstat T2 TMV provides convenience and total peace of mind
The Heatstat T2 TMV can be supplied on its own (product reference T20-10B) or with the installation kit comprising fine mesh strainers and isolating valves (product reference IK-21B). View full specification. A single Heatstat T2 thermostatic mixing valve can deliver safe hot water to your entire bathroom for total peace of mind. |
