| NB:
Hot & cold water supplies do not need to be equal. The lower
of the two pressures, however, should not be less than 0.2 bar
dynamic. Thus, mains cold water can be mixed with tank-fed hot
water provided that the hot water pressure is not less than 0.2
bar dynamic (Dynamic = with the water running).
The
minimum differential between the hot supply temperature and the
mixed water temperature relates to the ability of the valve to
shut off the hot water supply in the event of a cold water failure. |
Although
factory set at 41°C, the temperature should be checked during
commissioning to ensure optimum performance under site conditions.
