These shower panels do not have an integral thermostatic mixing valve but a number of the panels can be supplied with mixed water from a suitably sized Horne TMV in a group installation.

The diagram opposite shows an example installation where 4 shower panels with push button timed flow controls are supplied with mixed water from a Horne 20 TMV.

The larger Horne TMVs are capable of supplying more than 4 Horne showers. The size of the valve required depends on the available water pressure, the required flow rate at each outlet and the maximum number of outlets to be served by the mixing valve at one time. Refer to the TMV section for more information on the Horne 20, Horne 25, Horne 32, Horne 40 and Horne 50 thermostatic mixing valves.

The main benefits of this type of installation are:

  • The integral strainers on the TMV help to protect the internal mechanism of all of the showers in the installation
  • Timed flow control prevents unneccessary wastage of water.
  • Maintainance time per shower is reduced as only one valve needs to be serviced.
