Engineering, which designs, manufactures and distributes thermostatic
mixing valves (TMVs) and showers for commercial markets has invested
in a new mobile demonstration vehicle to showcase its products
and services.
The
high roof, long-wheelbase Renault van has been kitted out to the
highest standards and contains a wide selection of Horne showers
and TMVs mounted on tiled surfaces.
A
computer showing, amongst other things, maintenance procedures,
video presentations and a valve sizing programme is also installed.
The van also holds a comprehensive library of relevant documents
such as Health Guidance Notes, Health Technical Memoranda and
British Standards.
The
van will comfortably hold six adults at one time. For a project
team, a significant amount of time can be saved if the issues
of importance to the client, architect, consulting engineer, main
contractor, M & E sub-contractor and the FM provider are all
addressed at the same time in the one place.
The
van can be made available for relevant project meetings at a hospital
or other location. Also, arrangements can be made for a group
of professionals from one firm or public organisation to visit
the facility.
The
van will predominantly cover the East Midlands, North and South
London, but it will also be available in other parts of England
and Wales by request.
The
new van will complement the demonstration van already available
in Scotland through sales agents Hutchison
Associates.
