TMV2
Scheme Approval: Thermostatic mixing valves for use
in domestic premises should meet the performance requirements
of BS EN 1111:1999 (0.5 - 10 bar) and / or BS EN 1287: 1999
(0.1 - 1 bar). Valves are independently tested and approved
by Buildcert
under the TMV2 Scheme.
The
Scottish Building Standards are set to change in May 2006
such that for all new build and refurbished properties, the
hot bath tap must be supplied with warm water via a TMV2 approved
thermostatic mixing valve. |

of NHS Model engineering specifications D08 (Healthcare
premises) and BS 7942. Valves are independently tested
and certified by Buildcert
